  Demister Pads or Mist Eliminators mostly used for preventing product loss, guarantee filtering efficiency, and to avoid equipment damage. Typically, demister pads are mounted at the top of the vessel before an outlet of the product. They are widely used in cooling towers, ventilation systems and air scrubbers too. Mist eliminators can be also used in the various applications where acid mist, alkaline mist or oil mist gets produced. As the liquid droplets passes through the demister pad which carried by gas, they coalesce and form large droplets which drain back into the system. The large droplets are heavy in the nature comparatively to vapours and gets trapped in the demister pad. This device prevents toxic chemicals and liquids to be released to the environment. The contaminated vapours needs to clarify before it goes out of the vessel.
